Last week’s horrific attacks in Paris on Charlie Hebdo have sparked a debate about free speech, and what is acceptable to publish or show and if anything is too offensive.

One of the cartoons published by the satirical journal showed the Prophet Muhammad kissing a man under the headline “Love Is Stronger Than Hate.”
We will talk about the cartoons, the millions demonstrating in Paris and more generally, about provocative art, images and statements that challenge social norms on Friday at the DC Center. The discussion will begin at 8:30 pm and we are located at 2000 14th Street NW, in Suite 105.
Hope to see you there!
